Typically this Tang comes from turbulent reef tops and requires a lot more swimming room than the average Tang. 4' IMO is just not enough for this fish. I hope a large upgrade is in your future

Thank you ;D And yes it is a typical Tang much like the Powder Brown Tang and Powder Blue But my tank is doing well and I have it in quarantine and have done a lot of research on there care before getting one My friend at the LFS has been checking around for me for about 3 months or more to make sure he got me a nice healthy fish, He looks great and He is eating well so I hope all goes well with him. As this fish is one of the reasons I got back into this wonderfully expensive hobby

And yes Jason I do plan on going to a bigger tank in the future as a 75 is the minimum size recommended for this fish as they can get up to 10" in length..........  John

Beautiful fish, But I agree with Jason. They need a large long tank for lots of swimming room. Many specimens get stressed out in smaller tanks and do poorly. You may need to upgrade to a larger tank. Keep an eye on him for stress and pacing the glass. Thats one of my favorite Tangs.

Well just an update on my Achilles Tang ;) he is still doing well he is eating dried algae sheets ( sushi wrappers ) and he also likes Mysis shrimp. he has 1 more week in quarantine and then he goes into my 75. ;DI have a lead on a used 150 gallon tank so if it all works out I will be slowly setting it up and eventually transferring everything to it. :p John
