    Ive been wanting one for a while i found this stripped one today for 40 bucks so i picked him up. hes so cool.

    from what i read they wont go after my shrimps but some of the tiny hermits may disappear./

    what type is it? looks similar in shape to a snowflake but coloring is very different. watch what fish you put in there. what size tank is it in?

    they had him labelled as a striped eel. But after some research I think it looks more like a harlequin snake eel, not sure if theyre the same, but those were the closest ones i found which resembled it. Im pretty much done adding fish to the tank, i have 2 tangs, 3 damsels and 2 clowns. The clowns are almost 2 inches big so they were my only concern. The eel is still small, about as thick as my pinky and 10 inches long.

    also tank is 120 gallon, 4x 2 x2. with 175 lbs of live rock, plenty of hiding places. Also the clowns are both percs so they never really swim or sleep below the half way height of my tank. they stay near the top.

    as he gets bigger you may lose 1 or 2 damsels but thats probably it.

    yeah 2 of my damsels are dominos and thye are about 3 inches big, as soon as i introduced the eel, the dominos started beating him up kinda so i think they might be able to hold their own. we shall see....
