my own cheap 8 bulb + led fixture out of stainless steel 403

i dont have the money to spend 500 on ATI fixture so i build my own fixture,
    fixture is 23x22

started out with a 22g 24x23 sheet, layed out the lines to bend etc deburred and ready to bend.

    after the bend

i made the sides out of 18g s/s
    [IMG]

made a acrylic sheet of 1/8 and covered around the edges with s/s. it was to flimsy.

took out my cadlight fixture 4x24

    and the lights are on

the middle is going to be DIY leds or might run rapidled stripes?

one question is that, i have a chrome s/s sheet and was wondering if i can use that for the reflectors is there a problem with using that instead of the aluminum ones? better reflections? i just dont want to spend 20 per piece for reflectors because i need a total of 10 -.-

and this is the ending product, not finished yet need to find another set of 4x24 fixture to gut it out

yea, s/s should be ok everyone has different opinions I went to home depot and got a 8ft wide by 1ft tall sheet of aluminum and cut it to fit and don't have any problems ams it looks good and works good to me :) the lights look good, keep up the good work.

As long as the chrome is clean I don't think so but am not sure. The one thing that comes to mind is how well it will stay attached to the base metal? A flat one will not be an issue with that many bulbs. Molded or individual reflectors are definitely better if you want the most from your bulbs.
