Here are some photos I took this morning after watering the garden. I thought some might enjoy. I really like macro photography, but I want to get into telephotos as well. For that, I will need to buy a new camera. :-/

The photos below were taking with my Nikon P90...all raw images; no editing.

Thanks, me too. :) I've been trying for the longest time to get a shot of raindrops on a spider web...no luck yet.

Very cool. I wish I could figure out my Macro settings on my P100. Always zooms back out when snapping shot.

Use manual focus, but yes mine does that as well. I adjust the focus as if i am a little farther away from the object than I really will be. When the camera zooms back out, I scoot the camera a bit closer.

To get the shots of the front of the daisies, my lens was almost (but not actually) touching the flower.

Nice shots! I, too, love macro shots. Bugs, in particular. There is another thread around here discussing macro and I posted up a few.

I think I did see that. I'll have to add these to that thread. I like when you can see the veins in the bugs. I don't seem to have much in the way of bugs around here, except for ants. lol.

    Thanks for the compliment, btw.

Yeah, that's what I do, however, glass seems to be in the way. Need to get the underwater stuff to get close enough with that camera.
