    what are some Cnidarians known to be able to harm people?

    or that are recorded to have hurt someone?

    Your kidding right?

    The Cnidarian Phylum is huge. You're going to be including deadly jellyfish (gelatinous zooplankton), Hydrozoans (which hurt like the ****ens), Anemones (some of which, also hurt like the ****ens), as well as corals that contain toxic metabolites.

    Were you meaning, name some corals that can hurt people???

    well i wasnt kidding.. i was just wondering on Some..... not all.. just those that can actually harm humans. i know about jellyfish but what about corals?
    i know about firecoral and man o war and sea nettles...

    irkongy (sp) its a tiny jellyfish that hurts like a sob when you get stung.

    Here is where it gets fun. It's not a coral. It's a hydrozoan. Fire coral is just it's nickname (as well as lace coral). Sea nettles aren't a coral either. They are a scyphozoan. The Irocongi box jelly Gexx mentioned is a cubozoa. Like I said in my original post, Cnidaria is a very large Phylum and that's why I asked if they were only asking about corals.
