    When it closes up, the stalk (for lack of a better term) is purple with with strips.

    I didnt even see those lol phone got me....hard to say with em closed. BUT the pattern on the skin makes me think of some "gatsbys" from coral morphologic

    I would say they fall in to the PE category. Trade names are useless and just a way to rack up big bucks for a morph.
