    Hello all.

    I recently set-up a 12 gallon Aquapod. Its 3 1/2 weeks old. I did not use carbon, bio balls, or ceramic tubes. I pretty much created a refugium in the filter compartment with crushed live rock, chaeto, Purigen, and some other filter media i forget the name of at the moment. Some simple mods to the canopy to house some extra LEDS. I must have got a real good batch of live rock because its ahead of its cycle. There is all kinds of cool stuff growing in/on the rock.

    12 gal Aquapod @ 3 1/2 weeks:
    live sand, chaeto, and some really lively rock
    2 nassarius snails
    2 turbos
    2 plain hermit crabs
    1 blue damsel

    Not sure what to call anything growing on the rock. Looks like small polyps of different colors. Tiny tubes, like feather dusters. Tiny orange polyps with transparent tubes(mouth?). Some purple and pink stuff too.

    No pictures yet. My stupid automatic camera will not focus on small stuff.:cry:

    just get them up when you can, you dont know how pissed i get when a 400 dollar nikon wont focus on small stuff. lol
