Nano skimmers?

    sounds logical red, I'd test your theory.

    I went a bought that crappy skimmer and it wont work ....i'm just going to go skimmerless untill i have to have one! hopefully that day will never come hehe

    Really question need for skimmer at all in Nano. :confused:

    Cheap one more work then worth.

    Unless you are dead set against regular water changes, don't really think one is needed at all.

    Takes about 10 minutes for me to do weekly water change (~4 gal), clean filters, replace poly filter/carbon if needed. (usually about once a month)...

    Lots of LR helps much also.

    yea thats my plan hehe water changes seem like the most practical approach :)

    I agree, with a nano, I really don't think you NEED one, but you do have to compromise with more maintenance, but look at the bright side, you get to spend more time with your tank!

    but when is a tank not considered a nano? ive noticed alot of crap that has been sucked up in my sponges... i know my tank would benefit greatly from one...
    oh ya my tank is a 24 gal current aqua pod...

    Yeah my 29 gal bio cube never had a skimmer, just had to replace polyfilter once a week and i ran chemipure not to mention 25% bi-weekly water changes.
