Thanks for the advice on the corals Fish-aholic. The torch coral is interesting. I just got my Cube today in the mail and have re arranged some things and set it up. Still waiting on the other accesories.( sapphire skimmer, uv sterilizer, heater, and koralia power head) before I can start setting up tank. My Local LFS had a rock anemone in there Bc14 they had set up for display. Just wondering if any other BC owners have had any luck with them all tanks have basically the same Wattage per gallon ratio.
Still looking forward to the corals.

Also looking at a site nanotuners.com where i can get a kit that turns my stock hood into a 108W hood or a kit that adds a 150W HQI bulb along with the stock 72W of stock lighting. But the price difference for the 150W HQI bulb is a lot more. The 108W will yeild 3.7watts per gallon. is that suffiecent for anemones?

the Watts per gallon rule is out of date. I would go with the HQI

Well HQI upgrade is $400 compared to the $81 to upgrade to the 108W. The HQI kit is nice and would look nice but with the 108W will that give better chance with anemones and more coral types?

You could take off the lid and get a clamp on.

Umm budget lets say reasonable. IF I can justify it I will get it. I am looking at some of the clamp on lights and it looks like for the price, i could pay a little bit more and retain the hood and get the HQI kit from nano tuners. I want to keep hood to limit evaporation and keep the fiance cat from being to curious.
