Hoping someone can answer a question for me. Should I keep Romain in my tank for the Naso all the time or just keep it in every other day or so. Right now I'm doing it everyday he/she is eating it up!

I keep a piece of broccoli in the tank everyday for the Naso and other Tangs to chew on. As long as you are rinsing it before it goes in the tank you will be fine.

Broccoli is better. Romaine lettuce is not very nutritious. Or the seaweed in strips is good. I do both (not romaine).

Romain is a good treat for them but you need to make sure they are eating something else and not just filling up on the Romain as there really isn't much food value or Protein, carbs, Vitamins, minerals and stuff to it. I would do as otty does and give them some broccoli, or some Nori sheets which both have more "food Value" to them.

Broccoli is good for the digestive track.
Gives them something different to pic at. Seaweed should be the primary green food for them... it has the fats and protein.
It's best to get it at the grocery store or even cheaper on Ebay. I also use the Hikari sinkable algae wafers... it has garlic and other good stuff in it. Gives them a variety of things to pick at too. My Tangs and Lawnmower love them.

Sorry to surface this one again but I was out of town. So the Naso is loving the romain. goes through a pretty big piece every day and would go through more if I let it.. My question is how much to too much. should I just make sure there is always something there for him, Romaine, Broccoli, Seaweed strips etc.. Just want to make sure I don't over feed the poor guy.
