Thinking about getting one for my 80 gal. Does anyone have any input. Ive read numerous recommendations for tank size but that hasn't helped much. I know they get big, do you think an 80 gallon would be okay. I have a foxface which probably wont have a problem with it, but also a mimic tang that i'm not sure if they wouldn't get along. Im thinking with a Foxface, the two tangs, pair of clowns may be my limit in stock or is that pushing it. FOWLR tank setup for 5.5 months. Thoughts?

Tank size would be fine IMO... as far as compatibility I can't help you there!

HAHA yeah thanks for the response. I guess there's only one way to find out since every fish is different.

Make sure you get a small one so it will take up eating well. Some of the large ones don't take kindly to tank transfers and then stop eating. You will love the Naso as it is the best and most personalized fish I own.

I have a Naso and a Yellow Tang which don't bother each other. Each fish has its own personality so care must be addressed and monitored. The size of your tank is fine initially. Naso's are very beautiful and interesting to say the least!

I think you would be fine with the Mimic and the Naso. The body shapes are different so you should be fine. My Naso is my favorite fish. Very personable and is always the first one up to the top of the tank when I feed. He even let's me touch him. Great Fish.

Thanks for all the confidence guys, I actually now am the owner of one! The mimic just kinda pushes him away and pecs at him right now, Hopefully it doesn't escalate. He loves to follow around my fox face already. And I got another clown to match with the one I have had for a while. They seem to like each other as they immediately confronted each other.

OKay bad news, well i think this is bad. Noticed my Naso tang which i just got has not eaten in two days. Thought this might just be because of a new introduction to the tank and he will eventually get over it. Well i seen what looks like to be white poop from the fish, and at first research is probably an internal parasite? I don't have a QT tank and want to know how i can go about treating him if thats what it is. If it is bad could it affect my other healthy fish,?:-[ Any suggestions?

Also I keep a piece of broccoli in the tank every day. I also feed purple seaweed from Julian Sprung...sp.
