Thank you, the powder blue is my oldest hes about 1 year old now, since ive had him at least. Hes about six inches across. The purple is about 7-8 months old and has a 6 inch diameter. The lion is my most recent addiction who is already about 5-6 inches in length of body, not including fin.

Since adding the lion i have switched my tangs to eating silversides instead of mysis and also new life and seaweed.

I now have a massive seaweed farm in my reef tank so i will be adding long pieces of seaweed to the tank every few days and try to hopefuly see a difference in color in the tangs between the dried seaweed i feed them now, and from the new live stuff i will be feeding them.

Also i like keeping the number of fish low, the fewer the fish the less stress and the fish will show it in their color. I find this is always the case from purchasing a fish at a store where they are usually in tanks too small with a lot of fish. As soon as you introduce them to your system which is more appropriately sized and the fewer fish the colors come out much more dominant.

NICE!!!! Love your fish selection, that's my favorite lion color. If I knew it wouldn't eat my other stuff I'd get one lol.

I introduced the powder blue tang first, then i added the purple, when i added the purple it was slightly larger than the powder blue tang. No aggression between the two. although back when i was having it as a reef tank any time a new fish came around the purple bullied the heck out of it. So he was meaner of the two towards tank mates, but the powder blue was definitely the more dominant of the two tangs.

I feed the lion 1 silver side every day or depending on how its stomach is looking, these things will eat til their stomachs are protruding like they will burst so i watch how much it consumes.

my lion will eat anything it can fit in its mouth, and by looking at one of my pics i posted you can see its mouth opening about as wide as its body. I have lost two fish to being dinner to him going on a gut shot of it may work out who knows. They are my favorite fish for sure but the tank mate selection for them is limited.

also anybody got any interesting ideas for tank mates, aside from whats in there now i want to add 2 Arothron Puffers a male and a female.

I am going to be upgrading to a 240 - 300 eventually. I was in the fish store the other day and found my dream tank. Definately going to have to pick one up it was 6 feet long by 4 feet wide by 18 inches tall, it was a beautiful frag tank but after seeing that lagoon build on here i am inspired so i think that will be my ultimate project.
