    Hi im new to this hobbie i just purchased a 125gal 72x18x22 glass tank. im super excited to getting it started. at the moment it doesnt even have water :( Im planning on building an LED fixture for it. cant waut to start. im open to suggestions and any advise i can find.

    We both used Aquaillumination.. Right now I'm probably our resident led nerd lol. I've been doing an obsessive amount of research lol.

    Abriviations?

    aslo reading this ive noticed a lot of abriviaitons for things like... LPS SPS (i know these are coral types) but i would like to know what some of the common abriviations stand for lol.

    For the most part, many of our commonly-used acronyms are underlined with a faint grey dotted line (on 3reef forums). If you slowly move you mouse over it, the full name of the acronym will show up. ;)

    For example: LED, SPS, LPS, GFO, GAC, DSB, BB, SSB are just a few.

    If you're looking at LED and are on a budget I'd recommend BoostLED. I ordered a set and am happy thus far...
