Hey guys, I know the pic is small. it was really hard to get it as the way I took it was by holding a lens from an old night vision scope (don't ask :p) in front of my Nikon. Here is what I got. I also got a pretty dark pic of the lens itself. The camera was low on battery so no flash, LMAO!!

This is a copepod eating flatworm. It will remain in the tank because well, I like it! I tried to get a picture of it mid-chomp but couldnt move quickly enough. The lens is so strong that anything not directly on the glass is blurred :D

Nothing "neat" about any flat worm! I hate them all!!! That one looks like the nasty ones that over took my tank. Flatworm exit is like a trip to the day spa to those damn things.

It is very cool to me. This one won't reach near the size the rust/red flatworms that plague tanks do as far as I'm aware. This guy is smaller than a pinhead, only slightly larger than the copepods it's trying to gobble. They aren't all bad though I''ve heard enough horror stories from others to see why that may be the general feeling about them. I definitely welcome the diversity in my little piece of ocean.

I seriously hope it's not the ones that I had. They were very small and nothing like the red ones you described. I went through 3 bottles of flatworm exit and eventually had to tear down my tank. They didn't hurt anything but were super unsightly (IMO), and reproduced very quick.

So I've been watching it again this morning (probably not the same one) and I definitely still think they're cool. I love the way they move.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I find flatworms very cool. The most troublesome seems to be the Red Planara, white or clear seem very benign.

Reports of FW resistant to FWE should give pause, however if you monitor the population you should be able to catch an outbreak and nip it in the bud before disaster.

I've seen the one whitish orange acoel and a couple brown patterned ones. I've been watching them hunt pods on the glass
