    10-4 Rampart..... I need help getting some dvd's to China in a big way ;D For reasons we shall not discuss , Captain Steve Wright doesn't get to watch any videos that we post here on 3reef. No vimeo, no youtube yada yada....(maybe I should have kept that a secret lol) From my standpoint, this really sucks! So, do you think we can make a video or two and drop them in the mail for Steve?;D I'm trying to figure out mailing/shipping costs if anyone has experience mailing to PRC.

    there has to be some way for him to download the files if we can post then to a private page. if all else fails create them on a CD and then make an ISO image of it that he can then download and reburn to his own cd. it's a bit time consuming but free of customs inspections.

    Eh, well, sounds complicated. A disk sounds easy and wer'e not worried about customs.

    Maybe I can entice with, say, a 3reef shirt?

    If you burn a DVD make sure it is "uncoded" for region. A DVD for America (Region 1) will not work in a DVD player in his AO.

    A download area would be a better idea. Why don't we have a video hosting area? Storage costs I would assume....

    Well, sure, but he has a wife and children. We also need him to be allowed to keep a computer legally.;D Hence, a more personal gift to Steve.

    What about email can he receive video as attachments in that?
    perhaps upload some to rapidshare or something?

    If he can get to Filevo.com they allow a free account with up to 1 gig upload.
