    Upgrading skimmers does anyone have any suggestions for a stand alone skimmer limited on space in the sump.

    Here is my standard list for a 75g. Go ahead and look them up to get the footprint....

    PM Bullet-2
    E.T.S.S. Reef Devil Deluxe
    AquaC EV-180
    ASM G1x
    Reef Octopus DNW-150


    And the only HOB model I would put on a tank that size that is reasonably priced is the

    Aqua Medic Turbo Flotor 1000 Multi SL

    Now, these are some pricey skimmers, but you truly get what you pay for. Don't skimp on skimming and lighting. That is a generally accepted rule.
