Need an algae (?) ID'd

Reposted from the ID sub-forum, not having any luck there. I'm hoping that someone who lurks in here might offer more insight. Apologies to anyone seeing this for the second time....

about 1.5-1.75" across, growing on the lip of the internal baffle in my over flow... pic is a bit dark, the coloration is a brown/golden color - no green to speak of. I noticved it about a week ago, and it hasn't grown since. Tough slimy skin, feels like it's filled with fluid.



I'm not even really certain it is an algae. If I can't get a response here I'm going to start calling marine biology depts of universities

If anyone can ID this algae (or whatever it is) I'll send you a nice piece of glass art (marble, pendant, sculpture, your choice)

Dunno what it is but if I guess, maybe some sort of bubble algae or film algae?
