    This spot where my leather was first placed now has these growing in that spot. May be aptasia not sure. Could be Caribbean Zoanthids. Not really sure. If aptasia I can remove the rock to get rid of them.

    Have you ruled out Hydroids? I can not get an idea of their actual size or details, they look green is pretty much all I can make out. Try turning down the blues and turning up the white lighting.

    I pulled the rock out of the water and they all retracted like a feather duster would.

    Hydroids.

    Too much available food floating around the tank can cause issues, promoting their growth/reproduction.

    If the patches are limited you can take epoxy, pancake the piece and place over the colony for a week or more. You could try some kalk paste as well.

    There are some Limpet types that will eat Hydroids, they are however hard to come by.

    Ok thank you. Read up on them. I have some Kalk I'll put some paste on them in the morning.
