sorry I don't have a pic my digital camera isn't working but I've noticed some new tiny creatures in my tank since I put my new LS in my refuge. There tiny white little worm-like things that are coiled up and have 4 or so little red hairs sticking out of one side. Could these be fireworms or bristleworms. :D ;D

I have them everywhere on the back glass in my tank and most reefers have them too. I can't really think of what they're called, but they're some kind of tubeworm I think. They won't harm anything.

As far as I know they really don't do anything for your tank. They probably eat some kind of phytoplankton. I'm sure they come in on LS and LR. Mine have never gotten any bigger than a little dot.

I understand, all us reefers get paranoid when we see something unusual in our tanks.

even if they were bristle worms they are a pretty good scavengener and pretty harmless they only go after dead or dying creatures and clean up left over food
