Concern: Xenia not pulseing, xenia moves one finger on each hand at a time. It was the first thing I put in the tank 4 months ago, it used to pulse nicly. It has split once, and now it is half way to spliting again.
I have dose DT before, one small bottle one my third month.

QUESTION: DO I need to dose with DT's???? with my small level of corals, or because my tank is new, small amount of coraline etc..

5-6 month old 55 tank. 20 gallon refugium
Hand made rock and dead rock from beach.
    Kawasser drip system
    4-70watt MH
    2 65 or 95 watt 10k compact
    Pulseing Xenia
    5 red mushroom
    2 blue mushroom
    Pink hachian anemone
    3 small Kenia Trees
    2 Candy Coral heads
    20-30 polyps
    green star polyps(purple mat)
    1 head Frog spawn
    1 Damsal
    2 Clarkie Clowns
    1 Clown face goby
    Diamond goby

No you do not need to dose with DT's, xenia are not known for eating, they can absorb nutrients out of the water.

On the pulsing. To be honest, nobody knows why they pulse or what it takes to start the pulsing back up. You will find people telling you lots of things have caused there xenia to start pulsing, and you will find people telling you just the opposite.

They might start pulsing again soon, might take months, might never pulse again...

    Sorry.

xenia and anthelia get the majority of their nutrients from lights...the brighter the light the better.

How are your levels. I know this does not sound right but I have lost almost ALL of my anthelia ;D in my tank over the past couple months. Everything else is doing great and growing fast! I had cut back alot on my feeding and extra nutrients in the tank and my nitrates which have always been low are now zero. Somebody I know told me that they actually like some nitrates and thrive on it.

Also when you top off your water is the FW getting to the xenia? I know that this will also cause it to shrivel up
