Need Help Identifying!!

    Someone gave me this fish. I have no idea what it is. at first I thought it was a cardinal fish, but I cant come up with one that looks like this. the other cardinals I have seen have different fin arrangements. Any help appreciated.

    It is a Jackknife fish (Equetus lanceolatus) and is not Reef safe. It will eat all of your snails, crabs and shrimp

    Wow. On the nose Jason. thanks for the info. they are cute though and being the size of my thumb nail, ill keep em for a short while and see if lfs wants them.
