    Leather corals slough (what you're calling a molt) to rid themselves of any detritus and/or bacteria that has settled on the coral's "body".

    no this morning it was limp again. I have a powerhead blowing on it directly. There really isn't much I can do.

    How long had your lights been on when you noticed that the coral was limp?
