    Wow, where do I start. The following is My opinion;
    you need at least 75lbs of lr to help with filtering
    if you have a good relationship with your LFS, ask them to hold some of your stuff while you finish with your cycle. Only keep the hardy fishes and corals(if any).
    Put some LR, bio balls or marcoalgae in your sump.
    Do you have room for a refugium?
    Go to your LFS without your wife, she's not helping you.lol

    Botie, your wife needs to meet my hubby. He'll break her of that, real quick.

    I agree with Luna, ask the LFS, never know till you do.

    Do you still have the other smaller tank? Is it cycled? Why not take the Tang, Angel, Cardinal, Anthias and any corals or inverts like anemones, and put them into that other tank until this one is completed it's cycling? It might be crowded for a month but hey...it's better than the trip back to the lfs... It shouldn't take long with that load, but, you're really gonna have to watch your water parameters on both tanks Religiously! Do small water changes if Nitrates get over 60 and eventually thin down the amount of fish you have, or get a bigger tank, which is a whole nother can-o-worms!
    Also, change your filters 1x per week. I make my own so it's not as bad.

    After reading all this, you might really want to start seriously thinking about bringing them all back, until you KNOW your cycle is done....

    The 75 gal. at the same time can get done with it's cycle.....phewwwww......

    I've recently been doing this and it's working GREAT. My tank has never looked better. Hope it helps!

    rev up the skimmer and, if possible, get some ammonia neutralizer untill the tank adjusts to your needs.

    in a nutshell your bio load over exceeds your filtration.
