need help

    i have no luck with my corals opening up i put a pogoda cup in my tank it was big and full in the store never opened in my tank an my Alveopora also look great in the store it dont want to open up all the way . check water everything is in range took it to the store to get tested they say its good please help

    what are your nitrate levels? Temp? Salinity?....all these and more can be a factor

    yes are all your levels ok. do you do regular water changes with ro/di? what is your lighting and how long? i got a pulsing xenia that was nice and open from the store. when you move corals it stresses them for a bit. mine diddnt open fully and start pulsing for a week.

    HI I JUST DID A WATER TEST AND MY AMMONIA IS AT 0 MY NITRATE IS LESS THEN 5.0 PPM MY PHODPHATE IS 0.25 MY CAL IS 380 AND THE SALINITY IS 1.024. iT IS A 90 GAL 160 PUOUNDS LIVE SAND 120 POUNDS LIVE ROCK I ALSO USE R/O FOR MY WATER CHANGE EVERY WEEK T5 LIGHTING I USE REEF VITAL DNA BY MARK WEISS, REEF SOLUTION MINERALS & VITAMINS , ZOOPLEX BY KENT.

    do u have any way to check to see if there is stray voltage into ur tank?
