Hey gang, I recently changed my lighting scheme over my 55 gal. I have two Ecoxotic Modules (these are always there) and then I have a 2 bulb (T5HO) fixture. In the T5 I have 1 actinic 420 and 1 actinc+. I like the look, which is more blue with a great shimmer from the Modules but is it too blue? I did have 1 true actinic and a 10k but the tank was real bright and on the washed out side but not bad. I have all soft coral with the exception of 2 LPS. So should I leave the actinic+ (which I would like to) and add a 10k with it or what does everyone think.

Hard to guess without a pic, but I'd say if you like it, leave it alone. Just make sure your corals can adapt.

if it where my tank, and I was happy with the look I had achieved I would leave it and asses the corals reaction over a period of weeks

you are the person who is most familiar with the corals in your set up
and as such you are the very best person to judge if they look, better, worse or much the same as they did under the previous lighting configuration

not having any direct experience with LED lighting
but seeing others set ups on here that do have
I am of the opinion that the LED units you have are more than adequate to support the corals your keeping in terms of lighting needs
as such the T5 are supplemental, and thus IMHO, you have options on what tubes you would prefer to use in that location

If you like it and all are happy let it be.
