Hello everyone, just want to get some advice. I've had my new tank running for a few months. 30 gallon breeder/20 gallon sump. I'm currently hosting just softies and LPS.

My issue is I've noticed the corals don't seem to be opening as much as they did when they were in my 29 gallon. The flow rate and lighting is MUCH different in this tank. Here are the specs and what I've tried.

Lighting is 3 BoostLED's about 6 inches from the top of the tank.

Two Koralia Evo 750 (one on both sides of the tank) and one Koralia 1 (used to circulate water through one of the "islands"). The return pump is a Mag 5 with some of the flow dialed back into the sump. Too much flow? Probably... So I cut back to one Koralia Evo 750 and one Koralia 1... with the return pump as well. Still, no better. I'm about to ditch the Evo's completely, just move the Koralia 1 towards the top of the tank and see how that goes for a few days.

The old 29 gallon had a dual T5 fixture, a marineland penguin HOB filter and one Koralia 1. The mushrooms and kenya tree used to get huge. Now, very little. Although the kenya tree has been dropping branches left and right so it can't be too upset.

    Any suggestions?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Is there any point during the photo period that they are more open? Like 3 hours after the lighting come on?

How many hours is your lighting period?

I took out the Evo's and decided to just go with the Koralia 1 for a few weeks to see if this helps. I'll let you guys know in a few weeks if I see no change!
