    It was a friend diver of mine and it was in his tank for sale and got beat up. He was going to let it go. I asked him for it and am giving it a go to heal it! I only hope It makes it through it.

    Just an update. I fed the fish this am would not eat even live brine. I treated another batch of live with garlic tonight and it ate a bunch. The fish is looking much better and its colors are getting better its more black less white patches. Its also looking more attentive. I am hoping still yet for the best.

    Seems like your doing everything in your power and that is awesome and amazing! I really wanted to get a Black Tang, However it is so not in my price range for a fish, :) So I settled with a Purple. Got him at a little over 3" and Hes already grown to over 5" in the last 3 months :D.

    Indeed though keep us updated, and best of wishes! :)

    :eek: I just looked up the price of Black Tangs. Am I right in your buddy gave you the fish? That would be almost like winning the lottery. Online I found Black Tangs listed as show for $999. from there each stage went down $100. Nice score.

    I paid a price for it but not much of one. This when healed will be a show fish. Its not in that bad oc shape other then damage from ick
