I have an oscellarious clown, who lost his friend. I bought them at the same time in august, and he is probably 1.5" in length now.

Do I get him another friend? I think he's depressed been alone for a month I can't find another osscelarious clown no one seems to have them around me they only have perlicula clowns

Do I find one the same size or smaller?? I'm not big on ordering online have had bad luck in the past, there is 1 fish store about 40 miles from me where I originally bought them I could probably get another, just want to make sure he is okay until I can get down that way, he eats fine, but stays to one side of the tank for the most part.

i lost the larger of my pair of o clowns about 2 months ago. i bought and added a smaller o clown about two weeks later. after some minimal nipping to show the new guy who was boss, the first accepted the second rather quickly. it took a couple of days before the new clown would enter the nem but i'm not sure if it was because he was nervous or if the older clown was keeping him out. the new guy was tank raised so could have had something to do with it. anyway, since then the old clown has increased in size which i am assuming means he is becoming the she now. i don't know how this helps you but thought i would share. :)
