Neon Green Algae?

    Click out this picture and look at the neon green algae next to the ricordea.

    That algae has spread over most of my rocks now... not all but most. All my water parameters look good.

    I am also having to clean my glass far more often. A thin powdering of algae haze is constantly appearing.

    I won that battle with green hair algae. What is the story with the neon green haze???

    wow! i have the same exact algae with some of the red i can see in your pic too! i hope somebody can tell us!

    Looks like film algae. Most snails will take care of it.

    Can you blow it off with your had if not I think it is green coraling growing in the pores of the rocks i had the same thing.

    I agree on the film, and my snails are eating it on the glass, but not keeping up. Anything else I can do??

    The red in the picture is coraline starting.

    More snails? :D

    If it is on glass, you can always clean with magfloat. On rocks, coraline will take over once the tank is mature and parameters are good.
