Want to buy one for my new project. Is it available yet? Any experience with it?
    Where to buy?

The Neptune Apex Controller (the hardware) is available now, just as it has been for several years.

Fusion is the new software which will run on the existing hardware, once it's ready for release. Right now, it's in a private beta test, and presumably soon it will be in a broader public beta test. At a latter point, it will be in a released version. This will likely be a few months down the road; possibly later this calendar year.

Whenever a new software release is available, Neptune is quite good about enabling users to update the software on the Apex Controller (firmware flash).

Point is, you can buy an Apex now, and you'll be able to update to Fusion once it's available.

Or, you can wait until Fusion is released and buy the hardware with the latest software, but the hardware itself will be exactly the same as what you can buy today. And you'll still want to update the software as new versions are released.

Awesome. Thanks for that info. According to the release dates they were speculating about last year,I thought it would be available already.
I do understand that the Fusion is a network service that enables you to log into your system from any computer from anywhere. I would actually like to install a camera as well. Anyone who has done that?
I think it will take a few months until I have everything in place. I am not going to make any compromises on the equipment, so I gotta save save save....
    Anyhow, thanks again!

I have a D-link webcam that I can see the tank with. The Apex Dashboard update a year ago or so allowed you to integrate a webcam into the dashboard.

So you can do it now, but the camera is actually separate from the Apex itself, it's the software that integrates them together. I doubt Fusion will be any different in that sense.

You have a webcam on your tank so you can see it on your phone? Actually, thats pretty cool considering when I talk to friends about my tank the phone takes sh!tty pictures and livestock is shy when camera is on. I have no idea how they know when I want to take pictures but they hide. Webcam is great idea!;D
