    I could do 60lbs but that would be pushing it for my rockscaping idea

    I like the idea of FOWLR but i also like planted discus,angle,glass cats,tetra tank

    If i run vary strong current could i get away l with less rock

    6inches actually sounds fairly cool :p
    Thou I would do a bit less, maybe 4.
    And get more rock.
    1lb per gallon. So maybe like 100lbs of rock.
    Doesn't have be all live, you could get 70 base, 30live. Or all base.

    You could always break the big pieces of rock into smaller ones. To do a better looking aquascape. You could also do a sump and put a good amount of the rock there and just leave a portion In the tank.

    I don't want to but the tank has to have a sump cause its drilled cause it was used at a store. Is there anyway to undrill a tank lol

    Yes actually lol.

    Put threaded bulkheads into the holes, and put appropriate sized plugs into them ... voila ... no more holes
