Thanks YamahaRider!! Those pictures helped tremendously! That is basically what I am planning. Just to make sure I understand what I am seeing... Your overflow's are the pool hose that is connected to the PVC. One line has a T going to the sump through a ball valve entering the sump through a spray bar.
The other side of the T goes to the skimmer section. Your return is using soft tubing back to the tank. Correct?
2in10, thanks for the formula. I found a tank calculator online and came up with the following:
    2" of display tank water= 11.2g
Sump skimmer and return pump sections 22" combined at 10" deep leaving 6" for overflow= 10.3g
    Fuge is 26" wide at 13" deep leaving 3" for overflow= 6.1g
So if I am correct I have 16.4 gallons of space left in the sump for 11.2 gallons that will drain into the sump if the pump is turned off. Close, but doable.
Is a 26x18 at 13" deep enough for a refugium?

Thank you all for taking the time to read and provide assistance. It has been very helpful.

Here are a few pictures of what I have so far.
The first pic is my 90g that is to become a quarantine tank. The second is the beginning of stand construction, and the third is where I am at currently.
    Thank you for looking.

Things have been pretty busy the past week, so I haven't been able to make to much progress. I am almost finished with the sump, and I got a decent amount done on the stand today. I really wanted to make raised panel doors, but just don't have it in me at the moment. I will however put a nice routed edge on the slab doors.
Here is a picture of the stand so far:

Tonight I realized my ceiling AC vent is centered EXACTLY where the hanging cable for my light fixture needs to be mounted . I have a attic above, so moving the AC vent shouldn't be a big deal. I basically have two choices. I can move the vent closer to the middle of the tank, or place it just off of one edge.

Any thoughts on having a AC vent above the tank? The air doesn't shoot down, but more straight out along the ceiling.

I managed to put the first coat of polyurethane on the stand today. I cant believe how slow this build is going.
I have pretty much all the necessities to get the tank going. Before I set it up I still have to run 20 amp line and cat5 to the location. Move the AC duct in the ceiling and a bunch of other minor things. So it will be a while yet.
The Quarantine tank is up and running with a cocktail shrimp living in it for now :)

As I mentioned I have all the necessities together, so it is now time for a luxury.
I am trying to decide between a Neptune Apex controller or a MP40w ES. For flow I have two koralia Evolution 1400's and a bunch of Maxijet 1200's I can add as needed. It will be a little while before I need the flow the MP40 puts out but I will someday need probably two of them.
As for the Apex....I have been drooling over that for a while. Not as sensible a purchase as the MP40, but WAY cool.
So do I go for the fun toy (Apex) or the MP40?
Which ever I get it will be a while before I can buy the other.

Slow is good as long as you are making it the way you want.

I set my return flow so that my water level doesn't drop more than an inch when the power goes out. If you can I would suggest you shoot for that. Also you might want to make your anti-siphon holes on the return a little larger than 1/8" in diameter mine like to plug up pretty easily.

Thanks Joe. I cant wait for the fish either :) If all goes well maybe by New Year? Hard to say. I have 200lbs of fully cured and established rock going into it. I'm not sure what to expect as far the cycle in concerned.

    2in10,
Thanks once again for some good advice! I have the All Glass overflow kits. The siphon hole is only about 1/16". I will open them up. You think 3/16 is enough?
