so i went to the LFS yesterday and picked up a potters angel and two SPS frag fo $5 each a good way to start out SPS. so my potters is awsome not eating yet and fighting with my female clown. so my worries are him not eating and ich AGAIN already had it once. the frags are doing ok see how they would work with my tank. one has full polyp extension. so any ideas on the potters? i got angel formula but just dropping it in there is a waste, and should i feed my SPS? Thanks (sorry no pics cant find charger if i can ill post them)

SPS do not need to be fed, I wouldn't feed them until you understand what they may potentially eat (based on species etc). There are some potential benefits to adding some types of food that they may eat but I would do some research on it because it's not necessarily a simple thing and it's easy to overdose and waste money and add unnecessary nutrients to the tank.

I don't really feed any of my corals and there're all doing fine. Just make sure the sps has enough light and flow and you should be good. As for the angel, you can try some live foods if you can get a hold of them. If not wait a few days and see what happens. I wouldn't worry yet.

If you have a rock you can easily remove, try spreading some of the angel formula on it. This will simulate more naturally the angels habit of picking food off the rock.
