Hey guys, I just bought some more LR and have found these critters (so far).

First pic is a chiton (I think).
Second was what we thought bristle worm..until I noticed multiples and picked up the rock, bringing us to the third pic.
Seems to be a brittle star of some variety.

I had put the rock back and was looking at the pics I had taken when I noticed the animal at the bottom of the third picture.

Fourth pic shows another angle of it (Aiptasia spp?) and another anemone above it.

Am considering getting a Peppermint shrimp to munch away since I've found another few smaller Aiptasia; total of less than 5.

I'd say you are 4 for 4. Nuke the aiptasia post haste. That is a cool looking brittle star.

i caution against peppermint shrimp. They are hit and miss for aptaisia and i had 3 out of four that ate all my LPS tissue

There are more than one kind of Peppermint & are often confused. One kind eats aiptasia, the other(s?) doesn't.

Number 1 looks like a bristle worn to me. Hard to tell, thanks to actinics.

I've heard that before from other sources too... Maybe I should just take this one rock (its the only one w/the anemone) and put it in QT w/a Peppermint shrimp without any corals

Putting that in the QT sounds like a better idea.
