My LFS got in about 12 cleaner wrasses and I bought one. I know they tend not to do well but years ago I had one that lived for 3 years. This one is eating chopped up frozen mysis shrimp and ocean plankton. He's a pretty little bugger with a pale yellow on top of its head. Any advice on keeping him healthy would be appreciated. It's in my QT right now and I cant decide if I want it in my 75g reef tank or my 120g FOWLR. I leaning towards my reef, I've already got too many fish in my 120 although I could pull out the neon goby.

Don't know how much less stress it will be on your system to remove a fish that small ;D

Only question I have is whether or not your lfs has true cleaners or if he's got himself a tank full of mimics. I guess you'll find out if and when you put it in your tank.

They all appear to be true cleaners. They were all busy cleaning the other fish in the tanks. I observed them for about 15 min.. The one I bought was the most active cleaner in the bunch.
