He seems to like the bottom of the tank, doesn't really swim around much, he kindof scoots everywhere.

Is that normal or is he still stressed?
I got him two days ago, and he's eaten a guppy so at least he's eating. But he also looks like he's breathing hard.

But really I was just wondering if it's normal for him to just hang out on the rocks and the bottom of the tank.
He is my first lionfish after all, and he's a cutie. :)

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Yeah they are not huge swimmers by any means.Mine always either sat on rocks or on the bottom. Member Incognito would be who I would go to for all questions related to lionfish and alike. Great link below.

Ohhhhhhhh, another lion lover. That's a nice zebra. The way he is perched on the rocks in the pic is normal. Breathing heavy is not. You'll have to keep an eye on that as I've seen lots of lions with flukes. Can you get a video of him so I can see?

You probably haven't trained him to eat frozen yet, right? He'll start swimming around more when he recognizes you as the food god.

I have had several dwarves and they tended to all like hanging around the rocks or sandbed more than actually swimming. The only lionfish I had that was actually active was the volitans.

As long as he is eating well and his color looks good, then he is healthy. Beautiful fish, btw. Love the pictures.
