Thinking of what to add to my tank. I want to get a royal gramma and hope he gets along with my cleaner shrimp. also I wanted to try and pair up two clowns, ( one in which i already have.) Any suggestions on it? should i add just one fish and then wait a while to add another. Or would it not hurt to introduce them both at the same time. Also about the pair, ive read i should probably try and get one smaller then the current one i have so the bigger one will develop into female. True? or does it not matter
    Thanks

    ... Sorry Matt! wrong thread

Royal Gramma are nice and I have had them myself. With that said I have also read a few posts on 3reef and other places that the royal gramma can be aggressive (I never noticed this with mine).

I have also read that when adding another clown to a tank with an existing clown you should get a smaller one as the one in the tank is already established and adding a larger one may cause more issues then if you added a smaller one.

    just my half cent

    How big is your TANK?

You ever looked at the Marine Betta... It adds alot to a tank, and they are very docile, atleast the one I had was.

I would get another clown definitely.
You have a good list there. The Firefish are nice, I have a couple.
Alot of people here give a tough argument for both the Lawnmower and Yellow watchman.
I would rule out the Gramma.
Also I don't see why you could not get a firefish and then also choose between a lawnmower or Yellow watchman.

Get some kind of wrasse. I dont know if your tank is reef or FO, but wrasses are colorful and provide a lot of movement to the tank. I have a sixline and melanurus in my 65 reef tank. they dive in a out of the rocks all day long. I've always wanted to get a red spotted blenny and I will with the upgrade. Pyramid butterflyfish are very nice. keep in mind all the fish I suggest are reef safe. I'd say you can get another tang, like a hippo or tomini. Kole tangs are nice. There are many possiblilities, it's really personal preference and matching qualifications.

ya a wrasse would be nice, I AM looking for a lot of movement in my tank. My fox-face is just coming out of his shell believe it or not, only with me though he's still skittish with anyone else near the tank. By the way its a FOWLR
