    i am getting my last fish my tank is 46 gallon bowfront reef
    stock 4 blue green chromis, tomato clownfish. the only problem is that my tank does not have a lid. any thoughts
    they also have to be reef safe

    use a clear mesh lid from BRS, any fish can jump. without a lid your ricking any fish jumping out.

    its really up to you. some species that you might want to check out are blennies gobys and wrasses ( although some are prone to jumping) check out liveaquaria.com it gives info about the fish and was helpful for me picking out my fish

    blennies dwarf angels. a kole tang. lots of gobies basslets etc. smaller more peaceful dottybacks

    I would not put a tang in a 46 gallon, Your info says you have a scopas in your tank already. Suggested minimums for these fish is 100 gallons plus. With a 45-46 gallon tanks, tangs should not be an option. Sorry.

    The BRS netting really is the way to go. build a mesh net that doesnt hinder light and then get whatever you can properly stock size wise & care for.

    I like dwarf angels alot but i heard they nip at coral do you have any experience with dwarf angels that are less prone to nip at coral
    FWI my favorites are coral buety and rusty

    They are pretty much hit or miss I had a flame angel and bicolor neither one ever touched a coral, but my lemon peel tore through zoas!
