He ate tonight!! It was a struggle, lol but I stuck my arm all the way in the tank and slowly put the feeder in front of his face. He ate two pieces of shrimp!! I could tell he was really hungry because he tried to come out when the other fish were eating, but they are so fast and such voracious eaters that he was totally freaked out and went back to hide. I couldn't let him not eat because he was so hungry, so I made it happen! :)

He is starting to relax a little bit, I think. This morning when I came down he was on the sand in the front of the tank - so that was exciting! And then he was on a rock in the front a little later.

Congrats KC, he'll come out more as he gets comfortable with the tank. Good to hear he's eating!

Well Spike seems to be a happy lil' guy now! Pretty much all day he's been hanging out on a rock at the front of the tank and he ate really well tonight - about 6 pieces of shrimp. After a minute or so he even came out and was eating with the big boys! None of the fish bothered him, except my damsel, but he got over it quickly.

He still hides from me if I move too quickly, but he seems to be comin' around!

Well, Spike finally made a special friend! Him and my clown fish like to hang out together. Spike always hangs out on the same rock and my clown spends almost all day just hovering over him; and Spike isn't scared at all. He loves it! Awww so sweet!!
