    looks like a zoa button polyp I think they are called....I have the same one in my tank and never looked up what it was called other than what they told me when I got it....it spreads like wildfire in a tank of any condition lol. look pretty cool and will eat a snail lol.

    yes, it looks like a brown button polyp to me. That was nice of your wife :)
