I added my GSP frag yesterday at around 6:30pm. It is now 15 hours later and they still haven't opened. I've tried bottom of tank with both medium and high flow. I also tried middle of tank medium flow. The Zoa's opened up after a few min. and are still open today. The GSP looked great at the LFS but I can't get them open. Any suggestions?

It's usually taken my GSP a couple of days to open so I'd just give it time. Place it in a lower light level in medium flow (I'm not sure how strong your lighting is) and try not to keep moving it because that will make it not open as well. Congrats on your new adds! I love gsp!

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Yup GSP can stay closed for a while after introduction. Stop moving it around.

Guess they got that covered. Quit moving it around and stop touching it.

Lol yea I actually moved it to medium flow at the bottom early this morning and figured me moving it wouldn't help... Thanks for confirming!

Be prepared for it to grow. lol. I'd say its been 2 years I got mine, started from a plug that size and between what I've still got and what I've given away I've grown probaly 6 square feet worth.

Nice frag. I love green star polyps. Mine looks like neon green grass. Its so neat to watch it sway with the current.

lol yes I'm prepared, The plan is to attach it to the back wall... I have a rock next to it right now and the polyps closest to the rock are fully extended like it's trying to spread onto it already.
