    hello just been checking this forum out here lurking around. i'm new to saltwater and decided to pull the trigger on this hobby which is quite awesome. just wanted to say hello and show some picture of what i got going on day three of starting my aquarium.[​IMG][​IMG]

    It's a 40 gallon breeder tank with Marco rocks. 50lbs 5lbs of live and 45lbs of dry rock. With fine sand from them but thinking I should have gone with coarse:confused: cause it looks like it taking forever to settle. For equipment I've got a convalescence 305 with a hydro koralia inline heater and two koralia 425 power heads, which not sure if thats enough flow?

    Don't worry about the sand, i used fine sand and it does take a lil while to settle but def worth it :)! I don't know about the flow, but I'd say your off to a good start! Keep it up and keep the pictures coming!

    Tanks guys for the comments. Yeah I like this setup myself and I ended up saving alot building the stand. And buying most stuff online.
