    I think we may have a little bit of shipping damage going on there. Hopefully not a developing infection. His eye should blend in with the rest of him.... you can see yours is white. You'll need to watch that. Look at his bottom lip, he's holding it kind of funny. I don't know how to explain that. And it looks like there's a little damage to the bottom lip. Some of these scorps can get bag rub and develp open ulcers that can get infected. I've never had a leaf do it, though. I'm gonna put up some pics to see if I can show you a little better what I'm talking about.

    The eye should have a clear globe around it. In the pics it looks like yours are starting to become cloudy.

    And he definitely has a split bottom lip with possibly a little swelling.

    Look at the bottom lip profile on mine...

    There's just something.... I can't point it out exactly.... but he's one your going to have to keep an eye on.

    Great looking leaf! I am a big fan of the yellows and greens, but I also really appreciate the purple and pink varieties out there.

    Certainly on of the more interesting fish to keep. They do have a way about them that is simply fascinating to watch!

    I agree big al, after I make sure it's ok, I'll probably have my buddy keep an eye out for atleast one more...they're better off in 2s or 3s
