    last weekend i picked up some of this stuff... the guy said it was ochtodes? sp.
    its a purple/blue algae... can i get a positive id and any info on it if someone knows about it please!?

    It's ochtodes. I had some of it but it didn't do well in my tank for some reason. Yours looks very pretty congrats.
