Beautiful fishes those mandarin gobies. My lawnmower blenny killed my last mandarin and since then, I've been looking for a pair to buy. I love them so much. Very beautiful additions to a reef tank.

Lol, wow thats funny! Both of out names are Megan/Meagan and we both took in a malnourished female Dragonet (yours a mandarin, mine a scooter) in hopes of recovery. (personally because I couldnt stand seeing her be bullied by the larger tangs in the small 20gal they were all crowded in and I felt so horrible for her being so skinny).
My male has also taken to my little gal and she's been eating quite a bit.
Good luck to you and your new addition.

Good luck! I hope she pulls through, but even if she doesn't at least she will remember being happy, thanks to you! Fingers crossed!

I saved a starving mandarin. I used an infant syringe with airine tubing. Started on brine and weaned on mysis. Slowly pump the food through the tube most likely she will follow the food because it's moving. Let a piece of shrimp barely poke out of the syringe and she might grab it. Helps to turn your pumps off. Worked for me. She's been with me in a 16 gallon tank w/10 gallon fuge.. has pods and eats at least 8-12 mysis a day.

Good luck with your lil sweatheart. I love these little dragonettes.. so much personality! BTW I've had my Mandarin for 5 months and she's not skinny.
