    Hehe...I just got this today.

Luna, you reading this? Thanks for your help. Yes, this is the odyssea MH; got it from ebay Hombby. Not a bad quality. One of the MH lights came not put in tightly, so I just had to open it up and push it in. Came with 2 250W 15K Odyssea lights. Oh yah, btw, I will be raising this another 3 inches. Using what? not sure yet, still thinking about it..For now, it's off my tank since I need to fan the tank.

Only with MH. It's actually white with blue tint. Not too blue. My water is a bit yellow so it came out a little green. But it's actually white, the camera is just picking up as green. I am too lazy to take out my SLR.

Night light/LED lights. Too bright IMHO. I might cover some up.

Hey I bought a fixture from the same Guy on E-bay and I have been very satisfied so far I have had it 9 months and I am replacing my MH lamps this week with new lamps. ( as soon as they arrive) I have the fixture that also has the 4 Compact Flourecent 65 watt atinics. I bought a Coralife light fixture hanging kit from Fosters and Smith .com for like $20 that fit perfectly on the fixture so you could look in to that if you want to raise it up.

I have the same fixture and like it as well. I do belive if you look on top there are two slots were you can slide something in there to hang for the top of the fixture. Mine just came with the 4 plastic legs. I bought two 6$ fans from the dollar store and was able to rest them against the edge of my lights and the back wall. They kick on with the halides and the top fan via timer, not my coralife thats junk!.....hehe

I thought the moon LED`s were a bit bright but my fish have gotten use to it.

I just looked at all your pics Yeah I have the exact same light you should be very happy with it my only reccomendations are (1) make sure you plug the metal halide ballasts into a Heavy Duty timer/ Plugmold because it draws a lot of power when it fires up the lamps on start-up and I would not trust a plastic cheap plugstrip Trust me I am in the electrical field. Seccond the ballasts do get hot so make sure you have them in a spot that nothing is laying on them, they do not get wet and that they are sitting on a non-flamable surface like a piece of ceramic tile or a brick you want air to circulate around them at all times . Your corals are gonna love the light and the tank is gonna look sweet. 8)

To get the MH lamps out you have to take off the one removable side by removing 2 screws than you slide over the brown panel then slide the glass over and so on its not too bad to do at all.

sweet thx for the info......like I said, mines been up and running for about 9 months now with no problems. Infact i think the longer those halides burn the better the tend to look but have to replace mine soon.
