Just keep food available. I'm not gonna lie, stress is a very common reason for not eating. Was he eating in QT? also is her getting picked on?

I might be able to wait, depends on when I move, leaving the parents getting my own apartment with the GF, a 125 rimless will be a grand centerpiece in our livingroom

Wouldn't want that dream to come crashing down after you move in.
