new powerhead

    Just wanted some advice from some experienced people about adding a second power head.
    Right now I have a 900 gph powerhead in my 75gal with a 180 in to eliminate a dead spot. I will be adding a 600 gph powerhead (I got for 20$ new) I want to create a figure 8 flow pattern.
    Will my corals be ill affected at first? I am sure it will create some nasty debris at first.

    Shouldn't have any problems as long as the pump is not pointed directly at a coral.
