im looking for opinions and i would like honest ones, so thanks. i had to take alot of my rock out of the first pic because of algae problems. so i was left with minimal rock. i will be getting some more soon. but i cant get this 2 island thing down. its more difficult than just stacking them into a wall.

I actually like the before also. More of a reef wall look. Maybe build up the right side even higher but it is all about what pleases you.

im gunna try to get some more rock for the right side just because it looks boring right now. i was used to the full wall look, but if you look in the algae threads you will see why i changed mine.

I think they each have something good. I like the first one b/c there is more rock...however the second has more of a unique set up.

So, maybe just keep adding rock to the second one to get the best of both.
