So I just got a new skimmer and I have had it running for about 10 days now and its finnaly starting to collect a good amount of foam n stuff in my cup.. but my problem is that every time I put shrimp in my tank my skimmer releases everything and it puts tons of air bubbles in the tank? Anyone kno why or suggestions on how to fix this problem?
Btw.. I got the skimmer on buy.com so not sure of the brand..

I think you mean store shrimp for food right?? Why are you putting them in?

No brine shrimp.. I thaw it in water and pour it in the tank and every time the skimmer releases anything going up to the cup?

You should rinse it off first. But I'm not sure why the skimmer would go nuts from just brine shrimp.

You could try turning the skimmer off when you are feeding. Although, I agree with pgoodsell, the skimmer going nuts really shouldn't be happening when you feed.
